Abstract
As AI-generated and manipulated images challenge visual trust, standards for transparency and provenance are becoming essential. This session explores how photography can retain credibility through interoperable frameworks such as C2PA, which binds cryptographically secure provenance data to digital assets, and through IPTC metadata, including the „Digital Source Type” field for labeling AI-generated content.
