Getty Images, the world’s leader in visual communication, has today announced that Vice President of Global Integrated Marketing, Monica Bloom, will be sharing her expertise and views at Advertising Week Europe on the future of mobile creativity.
Alongside other marketing thought leaders, Monica will be featured on the ‘Getting Creative in Mobile‘ panel. The session focuses on how to craft creative campaigns that are an extension of a brand, but also relevant and engaging for consumers on the small screen.
The continued growth of high-res visual media on mobile, the introduction of 360 degree imagery and the all-encompassing adoption of virtual reality, means consumers’ expectations and the way they interact through the mobile platform is changing. Creative campaigns need to respond to these changes to ensure they reach and inspire audiences in the right way.
Monica Bloom, Vice President, Global Integrated Marketing, Getty Images says: “This year at Advertising Week Europe we are excited to focus on the creativity behind generating branded content on mobile devices. Getty Images has spent 20 years demonstrating the power of imagery, and exploring how the use of visual media is evolving – such as mobile overtaking desktop in regards to content consumption. It is an exciting time to shape and redefine the future of visual communication and I’m looking forward to this discussion at the festival.”
Monica will speak on the panel alongside other high-profile industry experts including:
– Stephen Lepitak, Editor, The Drum
– Kevin Allen, Chief Strategies Officer, Publicis Chemistry
– Chris Cardem, Head of Strategy, Mindshare
– Greg Grimmer, COO, Fetch
As Vice President of Global Integrated Marketing at Getty Images, Monica oversees the integration of all of Getty Images’ marketing channels both strategically and tactically. Prior to joining Getty Images, Monica was Senior Vice President of Marketing for SundanceTV. The success of the recent rebranding of SundanceTV has been attributed to her edgy and innovative marketing strategies.
The panel, Getting Creative in Mobile, takes place on Monday 18 April at 5.15pm on The Guardian Stage at Advertising Week Europe 2016.
