SUMMARY:Circulation(s) - European young photography festival
DESCRIPTION:FESTIVAL OF YOUNG EUROPEAN PHOTOGRAPHY\nThe Circulation(s) festival is the most original and ambitious project in contemporary photography. It is dedicated to the European photographic diversity and it aims to discover new talents. Since its creation in 2011\, more than 225 artists have been exposed and the festival welcomed about 250 000 visitors. Both a springboard for young photographers and a laboratory of contemporary creativity\, the festival occupies a specific place in the French and international photographic field\, attracting a constantly growing audience. It is the only photo festival in Paris! \nPROMOTE ARTISTIC AND CUTTING EDGE CREATION\nThe programming articulates around the jury selection\, following an international call for applications (800 applications received / 25 artists selected)\, the invited artists\, the invited gallery and school\, and the godfather’s carte blanche. During the festival\, each selected artist presents to the public of visitors and professional artists\, a set of pieces that best showcase his/her artistic work. 450 artworks are produced by the festival and restituted to the artists at the end of the exhibition (touring excluded). Paris becomes a place of international photo meeting. \n

SUMMARY:horizonte zingst - Umwelt- und Fotofestival
DESCRIPTION:Erlebniswelt Fotografie Zingst \nZingst – der ganze Ort eine Galerie und Treffpunkt von Fotointeressierten sowie bekannten Fotografen. Mit der Erlebniswelt Fotografie Zingst wurde im Ostseeheilbad eine ganz eigene Fotowelt geschaffen. Zentrum ist das Max Hünten Haus mit dem EPSON Printstudio\, der Leica Boutique\, Kameraverleih und mehr. Fotografieren lernen – dank Fotoworkshops der Fotoschule Zingst ist das möglich. Sich mit Grundlagen der Fotografie beschäftigen oder als Fotoprofi weiterbilden – zahlreiche Fotokurse bieten für Jeden das Passende! Verschiedene Galerien im Ort zeigen faszinierende Fotoausstellungen. Sich begegnen – das geht auch im Rahmen von Aktionen wie dem »Fotofrühling Zingst« mit Foto-Convention »fit for future«\, dem Umweltfotofestival »horizonte zingst« und dem »Aktiven Fotoherbst Zingst«. Fotografie – zentrales Thema in Zingst 365 Tage im Jahr!

DESCRIPTION:Am 31.5. und 1.6.2018 diskutieren Speaker/innen und Gäste aus Kunst\, Kultur\, Wirtschaft\, Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft im Hamburger Oberhafenquartier Chancen und Herausforderungen des technologischen Fortschritts.\nHamburg - Bestimmt die Form den Inhalt oder der Inhalt die Form? – Die Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft widmet dieser Fragestellung mit Mind the Progress einen eigenen Kongress. In Keynotes\, Vorträgen und Panels setzen rund 30 lokale\, nationale und internationale Speaker/innen Kreativität und Digitalisierung\, Inhalt und Technologie zueinander ins Verhältnis. Künstlerische\, philosophische\, wirtschaftliche und technische Perspektiven\, gegenwärtige und historische Ansätze mischen sich mit Visionen und Utopien der Zukunft. Mind the Progress öffnet am 31.5. und 1.6.2018 im Hamburger Oberhafenquartier seine Tore für ca. 300 Gäste. \nDas Kongressprogramm spiegelt das vielschichtige Spannungsverhältnis von Kreativität und digitalem Wandel: Über die Chancen von 3D-Druck\, Virtual\, Augmented und Mixed Reality als Medium für kreative Ausdrucksformen diskutieren die Künstlerin Giulia Bowinkel\, Creative Engineer und Festivalgründer Julian Adenauer\, der künstlerische Leiter des VRHAM! Virtual Reality & Arts Festival Ulrich Schrauth und die Mode-Designerin und Autorin Lina Wassong. \nDie Blockchain-Beraterin Daria Suvorova beteiligt sich mit Andreas Raabe\, Business Director des Start-ups Spice VR\, Prof. Peter Kabel\, Professor für Interaction Design und Service Design an der Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften (HAW)\, sowie Egbert Rühl\, Geschäftsführer der Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft\, an einem Panel zu neuen digitalen Geschäftsmodellen in der Kreativwirtschaft. \nDer Technikphilosoph und Politikberater Mads Pankow widmet sich in einer Keynote der Frage\, wo und wie Künstliche Intelligenz bereits zum Bestandteil kreativen Schaffens geworden ist. Die wachsende Bedeutung von Content über die Grenzen der klassischen Medienindustrie hinaus\, steht im Panel von  nextMedia.Hamburg im Fokus. Der Historiker Prof. Dr. Andreas Rödder erläutert in einem Vortrag\, welche Parallelen historische Ereignisse wie die Erfindung des Buchdrucks zur Digitalisierung aufweisen. \nEgbert Rühl\, Geschäftsführer der Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft: „Nicht nur aus der Sicht der Kreativen steht das Verhältnis von Technik und Inhalt gerade auf dem Kopf. Nur scheinbar beherrscht ‚die Technik‘ das Geschehen\, schafft es aber dennoch‚ ‚den Inhalt‘ bedeutungslos erscheinen zu lassen. Fake News zeigen aktuell\, wie eng und schwierig das Verhältnis ist. Es ist höchste Zeit darüber zu reden.
